Semiconductors are the most advanced technology of our time. Yet hardly anyone knows how they work or how to get chips manufactured. This is partly because expensive, closed tools and costly tapeouts put chip design out of reach for most people.
We’re changing that.
Our latest silicon showcases the beauty of democratized chip design. The TTSKY25a has 237 designs from around the world, submitted to the ChipFoundry CI2509 shuttle and now in production on the SkyWater 130nm open source PDK.
The layout is an interesting mix of digital and mixed signal designs, all submitted by people in our wonderful community!
