GDS for our first test chip
Tiny Tapeout has started work on adding support for IHP’s 130nm BiCMOS PDK.
Two test chips are planned, with the first public shuttle scheduled for mid-2025. The first experimental tapeout on the IHP SG13G2 process contains 24 designs from Tiny Tapeout users, including several RISC-V cores, a USB CDC core, several projects with VGA output, an AY-3-8913 PSG replica, and a tiny FPGA design.
The chip is completely open source and released under the Apache 2.0 license.
IHP’s 130nm BiCMOS process adds bipolar junction transistors to traditional CMOS designs, making it ideal for mixed-signal designs combining digital logic with analog elements.
