What a year it’s been.
In 2025, we sent 12 chips to 3 different fabs — that’s an average of once per month!
We ran 8 workshops for 500 people, helping students and young people design their first ever chips. And perhaps the most exciting moment: seeing TT06 launched into space on top of a blazing rocket, carrying hundreds of open source chip designs into Low Earth Orbit.
None of this happens without an incredible ecosystem of partners and sponsors. Huge thanks to our fab partners — SkyWater Technology, IHP, ChipFoundry, and wafer.space — for manufacturing our chips.
To SwissChips and Frank Kagan Gurkaynak for supporting IHP development and tapeouts. To Tillitis AB, Wit, and Tim Ansell for sponsoring GF180MCU development and manufacturing.
To Texplained for awesome chip imaging and reverse engineering. To Patrick Haspel at Synopsys for sponsoring Tiny Tapeout workshops. And of course to our team doing all the hard work behind the scenes.
But most importantly: thank you to our community for coming up with the designs that fill these chips. Hundreds of makers, students, and engineers from around the world put their ideas into silicon. That’s the real story of 2025.
Here’s to an even more exciting 2026, filled with ambitious tapeouts and chip bringups!
